2017 2 oz British Silver Queen’s Beast Coin – The Griffin

The Queen’s Beasts series features the 10 heraldic beasts that stood guard during the Queen’s coronation ceremony in 1953. These 6-foot tall sculptures represented the royal ancestry that was brought together when her Majesty was crowned. Stone replicas of these beasts now stand watch over Kew Gardens in the UK.

The Griffin is a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle. This powerful creature, combining the king of the beasts and the king of the birds, is often depicted as a guardian of treasure and valuables. The Griffin is representative of courage, strength, and vigilance.

On the obverse, you willl see the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II over a textured field. Inscriptions include the coin’s legal tender value of 5 pounds and “ELIZABETH II.” You will also notice the initials of the coin’s artist, Royal Mint engraver Jody Clark.

The reverse features the mighty Griffin with extended wings, holding a shield in its talon. Inscriptions include “GRIFFIN OF EDWARD III,” “2 OZ,” “FINE SILVER 999.9,” and “2017.”

The British Royal Mint has been producing coins for England and Great Britain for over 1,000 years, making it one of the world’s oldest mints. It is known for the unique Trial of Pyx, a process that enlists a jury of assayers to ensure the quality of minted coins.

Silver Queen’s Beast Griffin coins will ship in new condition. Individual coins come in a plastic flip, quantities of 10 in a mint tube, and quantities of 200 in a monster box.

Don’t miss your chance to own the 2017 Great Britain 2 oz Silver Queen’s Beasts – The Griffin, along with the rest of the series. Place your order online or contact a representative at 800-313-3315.

This .999 fine silver round is designed by Howard David Johnson and presented by Julie Lindquist of Anonymous Mint and is one of five brilliantly designed silver bullion pieces.

Nidhoggr 5 oz Silver Proof Round

According to Norse mythology, Níðhöggr is a dragon who gnaws at the roots of the world tree, Yggdrasil. The obverse features the fearsome beast, dwelling in a cavernous abyss amidst the oversized roots of Yggdrasil. Níðhöggr looks ready to battle, bearing teeth and crouched to strike.

The reverse is shared by all 5 designs in the series and features Yggdrasil, the World Tree. The enormous ash tree is an important symbol in Norse mythology. Yggdrasil holds the Nine Worlds and aids in Odin’s transportation from one land to the next. Wildlife is drawn to Yggdrasil; a stag stands alongside the tree, nibbling at the branches. A serpent slithers at the roots, while a curious raven sits perched upon a limb. “1 OZ .999 FINE SILVER” is inscribed along the bottom border of the round, indicating the purity of this striking bullion.

Each round is edge numbered and ships in an airtight capsule, placed inside a velour lined coin box for protection.

Add magic and beauty to your silver bullion portfolio with the first release in the Nordic Creatures series- Níðhöggr. Order online, or call 800-313-3315.

Introducing the American Music Icons Series

American Music Icon

Legendary American singer/songwriter Buddy Holly is the first musician to be featured in Elemetal’s new “American Music Icons” series!

Buffalo Silver Round with Radial Lines | Elemetal Mint

Provident Metals is pleased to offer the Elemetal 1 oz Silver Buffalo Round with Radial Lines from its selection of privately minted silver bullion. Each of these beautiful silver rounds consists of one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, and is manufactured at the Elemetal Mint. Because the Elemetal Mint is a Precious Metals IRA approved facility (ISO9001), and because it employs strict metal purity and production quality standards, each Buffalo Silver Round qualifies for a self directed Precious Metals IRA.

This innovative coin features a classic design from American coinage on a sunburst pattern of micro-engraved ridges. These radial ridges, or lines, are a security feature ensuring the source and purity of each silver round.

The obverse features the profile of a Native American, which appeared first on the Indian Head nickel. James Earle Fraser received a commission and charge from the US Mint to design a coin that captured the beauty and dignity of the American West. To that end, Fraser sculpted the profile of a Native American, which is a composite of three chiefs from different tribes: Two Moons of the Cheyenne, Big Tree of the Kiowa, and Iron Tall of the Lakota Sioux. “LIBERTY” is inscribed above the face of the Native American Chief.

The reverse features a depiction of Black Diamond, a 1550 pound American bison, and resident of the Central Park Zoo. “ONE TROY OUNCE,” “.999 FINE SILVER,” and the Elemetal Logo are inscribed on the reverse.

American Wildlife Series | designed by Thomas D. Rogers Sr.

Limited Mintage – The American Wildlife Series is a Provident Metals exclusive set of 1 oz Silver and 1 oz Copper rounds that celebrates many of the charismatic animals that live in North America. Thomas D. Rogers, Sr. designed each round in this series to feature an animal that symbolizes the major regions of the continental United States. Each animal is depicted in its natural habitat, allowing the series to illustrate the biological and habitat diversity the United States enjoys.

Each design in the series may be purchased on a 1 troy ounce .999 fine silver round or a 1 AVDP ounce .999 fine copper round. There are only 10,000 rounds of each design minted, consequently, supplies are extremely limited. The series may be purchased as individual rounds, which will ship in plastic coin flips, a Complete Set, which includes all 10 designs in copper AND silver, or as a Complete Set of Silver Rounds or Complete Set of Copper Rounds, which include plastic Air-Tite capsules and a custom display box signed by Thomas Rogers.
