Rosland Capital Commemorates 30th Anniversary of Ayrton Senna Monaco win with new Coin Collection

Precious metals provider Rosland Capital has introduced a new silver and gold coin collection commemorating the career of F1 racer Ayrton Senna. This collection marks the 30th anniversary of the legendary racer’s first win in the Monte Carlo. The unveiling took place at Monaco during the 2017 Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix, where Rosland Capital CEO Marin Aleksov presented the collection to Bianca Senna, director of the Senna Institute and Ayrton Senna’s niece.

Ms. Senna said, “The launch of these coins immortalizes these celebrations by engraving in gold and silver such a special moment for us at the Ayrton Senna Institute.” A portion of the proceeds from the Senna commemorative collection will directly benefit the foundation, which creates educational opportunities for students in Brazil.

Ayrton Senna is considered one of the greatest racers in the history of the sport, recognized as the best Formula 1 driver of all time by Autosport and BBC. A three-time Formula One World champion, Senna is a legend in his home country of Brazil as well as around the world. After his death, Senna’s legacy has continued as an icon of Brazilian sports achievement and F1 racing. With 41 victories across 161 Grand Prix races, Ayrton Senna has inspired fans for generations through his sportsmanship and legendary accomplishments.

Collaborating on the coin design with the Ayrton Senna Institute in addition to Formula One Management, Rosland Capital has produced both a 2.5 oz. gold & silver coin as well as a 30 oz. gold coin. Each coin features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse and Ayrton Senna on the reverse. The edge of each 30 oz. coin has been etched with the years of Ayrton Senna’s wins at Monaco–totalling six overall, Senna still holds the F1 record. This collection includes six 30 oz. gold coins, 180 2.5 oz. gold coins, and 300 2.5 oz. silver coins.

Rosland Capital is a Los Angeles-based provider of precious metals. These Senna commemorative coins were minted by Swiss-based PAMP S.A. For more information on this collection visit the Senna Collection on the Rosland Capital website or connect with Rosland Capital on Facebook.
